CHARACTER'S FULL NAME:

POWERS:
Compared to other mutants with abilities capable of leveling buildings or wiping minds, Amy’s mutation is a subtle one. Her brain is hard-wired in a completely different way than the average human, which causes her to think and function just as differently.
The most obvious “power” she has is her unusual sleep schedule- she usually remains awake for approximately two months at a time between twelve hour rest cycles. When she does sleep, her body goes in to a form of stasis- her body temperature lowers to room temperature, her breathing becomes very slow and shallow, and her pulse is nearly impossible to find without electronic aid. In order to fall asleep, she requires near-full sensory deprivation (the fact that she chooses to do this in a specially-made coffin is mostly a personal eccentricity, and because it was cheaper than a sensory deprivation tank).
Her thought processing works in a rather unique way. She is able to mentally keep track of several trains of thought at once, and at an accelerated speed. This makes her excellent at multi-tasking, however, devoting her full attention to just one thing is difficult for her- she requires excess mental stimulation in order to get things done they way she’d like to.
Unfortunately, for all the speed and complexity of her mind, it’s far from being an organized and orderly place. To someone not used to following her train(s) of thought, she seems like somewhat of a scatterbrain, unable to slow down and explain how she got from point A to point B. In a conversation, unless she consciously makes an effort to slow down and go over something, she can be downright confusing.
Her mind can be puzzling to telepaths, though not impossible to read. If a normal mind were a book, Amy’s mind would be a pachinko machine; full of seemingly random noises, flashing lights and information, with her thoughts bouncing around and off of each other at high speeds like pin balls.
She also has a slightly altered physiology and adrenal system, so that her body does not fatigue from her extended periods of wakefulness. Aside from some extra stamina, this particular mutation has no other effect.
